The O2 – Dublin
Please note that The O2 has been renamed as 3 Arena – click here for full details. The O2 is a stunning, new, state-of-the-art entertainment venue, with the kind of world-class acoustics that great music deserves. As you may be aware, it was previously the exact location of the Point Depot / Theatre. Located on North Wall Quay which is a large area of the Dublin docklands, The O2 is a 14,000 seat amphitheatre which opened its doors on December 16th 2008.
Playing host to a long list of world renowned acts, the venue is jointly owned by Live Nation and Harry Crosbie of AIL (Amphitheatre Ireland Limited) with Live Nation in charge of programme booking and operating the venue.
There are a number of independent bus services providing transport to and from The O2 from various counties. Please visit their websites for more information.
