With no new entries in the Top 20 of the Irish Singles chart this week, we had one extremely good climber from Ke$ha who jumped from number 35 last week to 16 this week with her cracking tune ‘We R Who We R’ and you can definitely expect this tune to climb further next week! Matt Cardle hangs onto the number 1 spot once again with his version of the Biffy Clyro penned hit ‘Many Of Horror’ which he re-titled ‘When We Collide’. Unfortunately Rubberbandits had to settle for number 2 again!

A two horse race for the Irish Christmas number one single had the whole of the country talking about Limerick act Rubberbandits who have now managed to make quite a name for themselves on the Irish Music Scene with their hilarious and infectious track ‘Horse Outside’ but unfortunately Matt Cardle’s debut single kept them at bay from the top spot. All in all, a tense affair which the Rubberbandits can be proud of and we all look forward to their next release. Congratulations to Biffy Clyro and Matt Cardle for achieving one of the most successful releases in 2010.
