The X Factor Final 2010 – and then there were 3!

Dec 11, 2010 No Comments by Musicscene

So, the X Factor Final 2010 is upon us and Saturday nights show was pretty explosive with amazing performances from all four finalists including Matt Cardle, Rebecca Ferguson, One Direction and Cher Llyod. The atmosphere was electric, with the judges finding it hard to get their comments across the noise of the screaming fans in the studio and on the live links from the contestant’s respective home towns.

It was a nerve wrecking night for all involved even though it was probably the most important night of their career since they all got their chance to duet with international stars to help boost their confidence, votes and chance of reaching the final three. Matt Cardle performed live on stage with Rihanna, for a very raunchy version of her hit song ‘Unfaithful’ – Hot! Rebecca Ferguson performed live on stage with one of her idols Christina Aguilera, for a live rendition of her massive hit ‘Beautiful’ – Amazing vocals! One Direction took to the stage with last year’s special guest for Olly Murs, the hunky and emotional Robbie Williams, and they performed ‘She’s the One’ – Pure chemistry / sixed member of 1D! Cher Llyod took to the stage with none other than Black Eyed Peas front-man Will.I.Am and they performed a medley of two BEP hits including ‘Where Is The Love’ and ‘I Got A Feeling’ – She’s got so much potential to break America!

Anyway, it went down to the public vote and the public vote only, which resulted in the departure of Cher Lloyd, with no tears at all! Music Scene takes it’s hat off to the little teen who got her swag on for the whole season and managed to get a name for herself. Fair play to you Cher, as there is no doubt in the world that you will get a record deal and sell a couple of million whilst travelling the world and living the dream.

On to Sundays grand final now – and our fingers are crossed for all three remaining finalists who deserve to win as much as each other.
