The Script have had an amazing year with their second album Science and Faith topping the Irish and UK charts on its release in September. This was followed by record breaking ticket sales for their March Arena tour and the Aviva Stadium show will be the bands biggest date yet.
One of the breakout artists of 2010, Tinie Tempah has had an incredible year. His debut album Disc-overy has been nominated for iTunes album of the year while his hit song Pass Out has also made the coveted singles list. Earlier this year the London rapper won Best Newcomer and Best Video for Frisky at the MOBO Awards.
Dublin band The Coronas burst onto the Irish music scene in 2007 with their platinum selling debut LP Heroes or Ghosts which achieved platinum status in Ireland and hit singles Grace, Don’t Wait, Heroes or Ghosts and the ever popular San Diego Song which became an anthem in clubs and radio stations all across the country. Last year’s follow up Tony Was An Ex Con was a top 3 hit and in the summer they opened for Paul Cartney in the RDS.
