Christy Moore joins Coldplay on stage for final night of Oxegen 2011!
Coldplay entertained the masses live at Oxegen 2011 for the final night of the 3 day extravaganza which took place at Punchestown in Co. Kildare from July 8th – 10th. With an astonishing setlist spanning their illustrious career, Chris Martin and his gang performed most of the hits from each of their 4 studio albums while also including some newbies. It was a great gig for revellers to enjoy before they start packing up for what was described as the best line up ever!
There was a surprise special guest who joined Coldplay on stage for a fantastic rendition of the world famous song ‘Ride On’ and it was Kildare native Christy Moore who was greeted to rapturous applause by all who congregated at the main stage for the final hours.
