Hello Monroe have confirmed a return to Dublin whereby they will be performing live at The Academy 2 on Saturday the 29th of October 2011. Tickets are priced from €10 inclusive of booking fee and are on sale now through Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide. Click here to buy tickets. Please note that this is an over 14’s matinee performance, doors open at 1pm and there will be no alcohol served at the bar. Hollywood have already been confirmed as the support act but there will be another one announced closer to the date.

It all started when Dublin based front women Rona McHugh and Aimee Prizeman started doing covers together before wanting to turn it into a proper band and take it more seriously. Recruiting childhood friend Connor Sheehan on guitar as well as Max Beadel and Taylor Rogers on bass and drums, Hello Monroe was formed.

Having made huge strides after only being together for a few months, their catchy and feel good anthems have caught the attention of some major music industry players with whom they got to work with. Over the course of the last year they’ve been hidden away working on their tracks with those who are behind the success stories of You Me At Six, Deaf Havana and Twenty Twenty.
