Deaf Havana confirm Academy 2 live concert date in Dublin for October 2011!

UK rock hero’s Deaf Havana have officially announced details of an exclusive headline performance at The Academy 2 in Dublin on Friday October 21st 2011. Support on the night comes from Lower Than Atlantis. Tickets priced €16.50 inclusive of booking fee will be on sale from Friday August 19th through Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide. After a highly anticipated wait, UK heavyweights Deaf Havana are back with a headline regional tour of the UK & Ireland in support of their sophomore album due out in Autumn 2011. A hectic and turbulent 12 months for the band has seen them lose a member, re-shuffle, have their comeback single chart at #10 in the Official UK Rock Chart, packed stages at Sonisphere, Hevy and Slam Dunk Festivals, a Kerrang! Award nomination and a critically acclaimed headline tour, selling out the infamous London Garage as well as numerous other venues around the UK.

Know this: Hertfordshire quartet Lower Than Atlantis are ready to take on all-comers. With a year under their belts that has seen the young band ascend from UK underground scene obscurity to mainstream radio and TV exposure, high profile tours and plastered across all manner of end of year lists in the national music press thanks to their critically lauded debut album ‘Far Q’ and rabble rousing live show.
