Irish Singles Chart Top 20 Week Commencing September 30th 2011

After various X Factor auditions promoting the Goo Goo Dolls classic, ‘Iris’ has managed to creep into the Top 20 Irish Singles this week, reaching #18… eventhough it was released back in 1998! Other than that, we only have one other new entry from Scala & Kolacny Brothers with their extremely emotional and vocal version of ‘With Or Without You’ by our very own U2. The only artist who came anywhere close to knocking Adele from the top spot this week was the ever so hunky James Morrison, with his brand new studio album ‘The Awakening’, which debuted at number 2! Other new entries included Nirvana’s classic ‘Nevermind’, which was re-released to celebrate it’s 20th Anniversary, The Waterboys latest offering entitled ‘An Appointment With Mr. Yeats’, and Blink 182 also made an appearance with their new LP ‘Neighborhoods’.
