Cheerios Childline Concert 2011 confirmed for The O2 in Dublin on November 12th!
The Cheerios Childline Concert returns to The O2 in Dublin on Saturday the 12th of November 2011. Come and join the party with megastars Westlife, JLS, The Wanted, Jedward, Parade and much more to be announced! Tickets are priced from €45 (may be subject to service charge) and will be on sale from Friday the 9th of September 2011 at 9am through Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide. The Cheerios Childline Concert, the biggest date in the pop calendar will once again be hosted by Westlife’s Nicky Byrne. Childline, Ireland’s No. 1 children’s charity, hope to receive over €400,000 from this year’s concert. To date, Childline has benefitted to the tune of €3.8 million from the previous concerts which have been held annually since 1997. Over the years acts such as Westlife, Boyzone, The Script, Robbie Williams, JLS, Alexandra Burke, Girls Aloud, Taio Cruz, Cascada, Enrique Iglesias, All Saints, Ronan Keating, Brian McFadden, S Club7, Blue, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Five, Sugababes, Busted, McFly, The Saturdays, Olly Murs, Jason Derulo and many more have all taken part.
Childline is currently experiencing record levels of demand for it’s services. Over 800,000 calls will be received in 2011 and almost half of those calls will go unanswered due to lack of resources.
All parties involved with The Cheerios Childline Concert are providing their services free of charge on the night including artists, organisers and The O2.

Doors will open at 6.30pm and fans should note that no queuing will be permitted prior to 6.00pm.
