The Stone Roses have officially confirmed an Irish Tour Date whereby they will be setting up stage at The Phoenix Park Dublin this coming July 2012! Yes, Music Scene is delighted to reveal that The Stone Roses will be performing live at The Phoenix Park in Dublin on Thursday the 5th of July 2012. Tickets for The Stone Roses live at The Phoenix Park in Dublin are priced from €65.50 including booking fee and will be on sale from 8am on Tuesday the 20th of December 2011 through Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide. In October 2011, The Stone Roses officially announced their long awaited reunion at a press conference in London. The legendary four-piece today (December 16th 2011) announced that they will play at Dublin’s Phoenix Park on Thursday the 5th of July as part of their extensive reunion tour.
The Stone Roses, whose eponymous 1989 debut album is widely considered to be one of the greatest albums of all time, are currently in rehearsals for the one of the most eagerly anticipated reunifications ever.
Having achieved massive commercial and critical success with only two albums, The Stone Roses music truly defined an era in British popular culture and provided the inspiration for a whole generation of acts to take on the charts.
The Stone Roses set a new record in October when all 220,000 tickets for their 3 UK shows at Manchester’s Heaton Park sold out in just over an hour.
