Happy Mondays Olympia Theatre Dublin 2012 live concert date confirmed for May 15th!

As the market for lucrative nostalgia tours increases in 2012, mancunian legends Happy Mondays have officially announced a brand new Irish Tour Date! As part of their re-union tour, Happy Mondays have confirmed that they will be performing live on stage at The Olympia Theatre in Dublin on Tuesday May 15th 2012. Tickets for Happy Mondays live at The Olympia Theatre in Dublin are priced from €49.65 and will be on sale from Friday the 3rd of February 2012 through Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide. It’s been a long time since their 2007 release Uncle Dysfunktional, but news has been circulating recently that Mancunian legends Happy Mondays are due to reform in 2012, and now it has been officially set in stone. After Shaun Ryder’s recent visit to The Village of Wexford Street in Dublin last December, it seems that there is still a demand for Happy Mondays music after he performed a couple of their hits in his set while on tour, and no doubt fans of the band will be happy (no pun intended) to hear news about them returning to Dublin for a live concert date at The Olympia Theatre this May.

Speaking about Happy Mondays reforming, frontman Shaun Ryder said: “It’s as if we’ve never been apart. We can’t wait to tour.”
