Marcus Collins to release ‘Seven Nation Army’ as debut single!

Jan 28, 2012 1 Comment by Musicscene

X Factor 2011 finalist Marcus Collins has confirmed that ‘Seven Nation Army’ will be released as his debut single on Friday the 2nd of March 2012 in Ireland. The track which was originally released in 2003 by The White Stripes, takes a turn for a lesser bass thumping production and instead gains more depth via keys and brass sections. Although it has already been picking up mixed reviews by the public, here at Music Scene we think Marcus Collins has given the song a new lease of life, while definitely putting his own stamp on it. You can judge for yourself by listening to the song below.

Speaking about ‘Seven Nation Army’, Marcus Collins recently stated: “I’ve always been a fan of the original version of ‘Seven Nation Army’ and hope people like my take on it.”

Marcus Collins will also be releasing his self titled debut studio LP on Friday the 9th of March 2012 in Ireland.
