Kings Of Leon are ready to rock again… soon!
Following the release of their 5th studio album ‘Come Around Sundown’ in October 2010, and a pretty hectic 2011 world tour which seen them cancel numerous live concert dates after lead singer Caleb Followill had a breakdown whilst suffering from exhaustion – apparently Kings Of Leon are getting a taste for recording again. Currently getting their own recording studio organised in Nashville, drummer Nathan Followill was speaking to MTV earlier this week and stated the following: “We’re going to spend the next few months getting that (studio) up and running – kind of make it our little clubhouse to get there and just kind of goof off whenever we want to. But, I’d say within the next six months, we’ll probably start kicking some stuff around.”
Frontman Caleb Followill also spoke in a recent interview about the current Kings Of Leon productivity stating: “I’ve been writing a lot and I kinda want everyone to get a little break from each other, but whenever they’re ready, I want to play some stuff. The melodies are really strong, and the lyrics that I have written are pretty good, but we’ll see.”
Caleb Followill is also expecting his first child at some stage this Summer 2012 – click here for details.
