Madonna Aviva Stadium Dublin 2012 Irish Tour Date concert confirmed for July 24th!

A mere 12 hours after we published an article stating that Madonna is scheduled to play somewhere in Dublin this coming July, an Irish Tour Date has been officially confirmed for The Aviva Stadium by The Queen Of Pop. Music Scene is delighted to reveal that Madonna will be performing live on stage at The Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Tuesday the 24th of July 2012. Tickets for Madonna live at The Aviva Stadium in Dublin are priced from €54.65 including booking fee and will be on sale from Friday the 17th of February 2012 through Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide. Madonna is having a huge party and everyone’s invited. Officially announced by Live Nation Entertainment, The Madonna 2012 World Tour begins on May 29th 2012 in Tel Aviv, Israel. The shows will include arenas, stadiums and special outdoor sights including the Plains of Abraham in Quebec and a return visit to South America and Australia where Madonna has not performed live in over 20 years. The Madonna 2012 World Tour will stop in 26 European cities including London, Paris, Milan, Berlin as well as Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on the 24th of July 2012.

The first of 26 North American shows is scheduled for August 28th in Philadelphia and includes a September 6th show in NY’s Yankee Stadium and an October l0th performance at LA’s Staples Center.

Madonna’s phenomenally successful “Sticky & Sweet” Tour reaffirmed her status as one of the most successful touring artists of all time. The historic tour included such incredible touring feats as a 70,000 seat sell-out in Werchter, Belgium, a 76,000 seat sell-out in Helsinki (the largest show ever in Finland by a solo artist), 40,000 tickets sell-out in Oslo, Norway, and 72,000 tickets sold out in one day in Tallinn, Estonia. Other record breaking ticket sales around the globe include 650,000 tickets sold in her series of South American dates, 72,000 tickets at Zurich’s Dübendorf Airfield – the largest audience ever assembled for a show in Switzerland, 75,000 tickets in London and four sell outs in New York’s Madison Square Garden (60,364 tickets).

So judging by previous ticket sales – we can only recommend an early purchase for tickets to Madonna live at The Aviva Stadium in Dublin this coming July 2012!

The announcement of Madonna’s 2012 World Tour follows an extraordinary week which along with Madonna’s Bridgestone Super Bowl halftime performance saw the release of Madonna’s new single, “Give Me All Your Luvin” from her highly anticipated new studio album MDNA on Live Nation Entertainment / Interscope Records – scheduled to be released in Ireland on March 26th 2012. MDNA is already #1 on iTunes in many countries including the US, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Canada, Italy, Sweden and the Netherlands. The single’s video which also stars Nicki Minaj and MIA and previewed on American Idol was also released and the Madonna directed Golden Globe Award winning film “W.E.” opened in NY and LA with other markets to follow throughout February 2012.

Her last CD “Hard Candy,” debuted at Number 1 in 37 countries including US, UK, Canada, France and Australia. Madonna 2012 World Tour is the Material Girl’s 9th Tour. Her first tour was the l985 Virgin Tour.
