Donna Summer dies aged 63…

Music Scene is extremely sad to reveal that the legendary Donna Summer has died aged 63, after losing her battle with cancer at her Key West home in Florida. On Thursday the 17^th of May 2012, her family revealed the following statement: “Early this morning, we lost Donna Summer Sudano, a woman of many gifts, the greatest being her faith. While we grieve her passing, we are at peace celebrating her extraordinary life and her continued legacy. Words truly can’t express how much we appreciate your prayers and love for our family at this sensitive time.”

Donna Summer was well known for hits such as ‘Last Dance’, ‘Love To Love You Baby’, and ‘Bad Girl’ to name but a few, and sold over 130 Million records throughout her career. Donna leaves behind husband Bruce Sudano and her three daughters.

RIP Donna Summer.
