Ed Sheeran wins Ivor Novello Award for ‘The A Team’!
On Thursday the 17th of May 2012, Ed Sheeran won his first ever Ivor Novello Award for his stunning single ‘The A Team’. Beating of stiff competition at the 57th annual event, Ed Sheeran walked away with the award for Best Song Musically & Lyrically. Speaking about his win, Ed Sheeran stated “It was always my goal to get an Ivor Novello”. Ed Sheeran beat Adele’s huge hit Rolling In The Deep and Shake It Out from Florence and The Machine to claim the gong. The full list of Ivor Novello winners are listed below:
