Jay-Z to ask Barack Obama to perform live on stage at Budweiser Made In America music festival 2012!
Taking place in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park from September 1st – 2nd 2012, Jay-Z will host his brand new Budweiser Made In America music festival. Although the official line-up has not been announced yet, this unique festival will consist of approximately 30 rap, rock, and R&B artists while also including Jay-Z as one of the headline acts.
Speaking to Rolling Stone this week, an excited Jay-Z said that he shall be asking none other than US President Barack Obama to perform live on stage at the festival. Whether this actually happens is another story though. Jay-Z stated: “I’m gonna give him a call and I’m gonna try to get him to perform – do a little rendition of Al Green, but I doubt it. I think that opens up the political season. He’ll be so far into helping the world that he probably won’t have time, but I’m absolutely going to ask him.”
