Rare Beatles image from Abbey Road set to auction later this month!
Due to go under the hammer later this month, a rare image of The Beatles walking across the famous Abbey Road, is set to be auctioned for a minimum of €10,000. The image was taken by the late Iain Macmillan, but is being sold by a private collector (who will no doubt net a lot more than €10K for it on the day!).
What’s so unique about this image we hear you say?
Well, the picture displays The Beatles walking backwards (right to left) across the Abbey Road zebra crossing, which you can see on the original cover of their 1969 hit studio album release. Some notable differences when compared with the cover of their Abbey Road studio LP include the direction the band are walking, as well as Paul Mc Cartney wearing sandles, rather than walking (forward) in his bare feet.
Why not see if you can spot any more eh? See below.
