Emeli Sande confirms Childline Olympia Theatre Dublin 2012 live concert date for Sunday November 4th!
Emeli Sande has officially announced details of a very special charity show at The Olympia Theatre in Dublin. Following a hugely successful year Emeli Sande is returning to Dublin with a brand new Irish Tour Date in aid of Childline, a very worthwhile charity which receives no government funding and relies solely on the generosity of public giving. Music Scene is delighted to reveal that Emeli Sande will be performing live on stage for Childline live at The Olympia Theatre in Dublin on Sunday the 4th of November 2012. ISPCC’s Childline service is an essential support to young people in Ireland and last year we received over 800,000 calls. Sadly, due to lack of funding and resources, we were unable to answer over a third of these calls, meaning hundreds of children’s voices went unheard everyday; a very worrying statistic. The proceeds which we hope will be raised from Emeli’s gig will make a huge difference to Childline as we endeavour to listen to every child who bravely reaches out for support.”
