After 20 years on the road, punk rock legends Rancid have officially confirmed some brand new Irish Tour Dates. Music Scene is delighted to reveal that Rancid will be returning to Belfast and Dublin this coming November 2012. Rancid will be performing live on stage at Mandela Hall in Belfast on Wednesday the 28th of November 2012, followed by a live concert date at The Academy in Dublin on Thursday the 29th of November 2012. Tickets for both Rancid shows will be on sale from Friday the 29th of June 2012 through Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide. Prices are listed below. Rancid are an influential punk rock band consisting of Tim Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Matt Freeman (bass, vocals), Lars Frederiksen (vocals, guitar) and Branden Steineckert (drums). Celebrating their twenty year anniversary this year, Rancid have decided to return to Belfast and Dublin for some live concert dates. As one way of marking this memorable occasion, the band have put together a career spanning video montage, consisting of video clips from throughout their career, accompanied by song “Out Of Control” from 2003 release ‘Indestructible’. Rancid are planning to enter the studio again in early November 2012 to begin recording their 8th full-length studio album, the follow up to 2009’s ‘Let The Dominos Fall’.
