Seattle natives Band of Horses have officially confirmed details of a brand new Irish Tour Date! Music Scene is delighted to reveal that Band Of Horses will give an exclusive headline performance at The Olympia Theatre in Dublin this November 2012. Band Of Horses will be performing live on stage at The Olympia Theatre in Dublin on Saturday the 17th of November 2012. Band of Horses consists of members Ben Bridwell, Creighton Barrett, Ryan Monroe, Tyler Ramsey and Bill Reynolds. Band Of Horses have long standing ties: Ryan Monroe and Ben Bridwell played baseball together in grade school, Tyler Ramsey and Bill Reynolds cut their teeth in the same Asheville, NC music scene, and Creighton Barrett met Ben Bridwell at a party as teenagers, where they bonded instantly over a mutual obsession with Dinosaur Jr.
Over the course of a few years, Band Of Horses gradually synched up. Barrett appeared behind the kit on their second studio album release ‘Cease to Begin’, while Monroe joined the band on keys toward the end of the writing process of that record. Reynolds came into the fold almost by accident as he happened upon a recording session with Band Of Horses at his friend’s Echo Mountain Studios, and joined the touring line-up soon after. Ramsey, already an established solo artist, joined after Reynolds introduced him to the band in 2007, starting to tour just prior to the release of ‘Cease to Begin’ and opening the shows with a set of his own material.
Following the release of their 3 studio albums – ‘Everything All The Time’, ‘Cease To Begin’, and ‘Infinite Arms’, Band Of Horses return to Dublin this November to promote material from their eagerly anticipated fourth LP which is produced by Glyn Johns and is due for release in September 2012.
