Def Leppard plan to re-record whole back catalogue over dispute with Universal!

Following a royalties dispute with their label Universal, rock legends Def Leppard have revealed that they will re-record their whole back catalogue of hits. The dispute has really annoyed Def Leppard members including frontman Joe Elliott, who is not being properly compensated for royalties on their original recordings.

Speaking about phasing out all previous Def Leppard tracks from download sites, Joe Elliott stated: “We’ll just replace our back catalogue with brand new, exact same versions of what we did.”

Whether or not Joe Elliott can hit the same notes he did when he was in his 20’s remains to be seen, but considering the new versions of their hits ‘Rock Of Ages’ and ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me’, the man still has it!
