Music Scene is delighted to reveal that Welsh rockers Stereophonics will be back on the scene before the end of the year! Stereophonics have announced that they shall be releasing two brand new studio albums over the coming 24 months. Oh, and a film written by Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones is also in production, and will be released to coincide with the second LP release.

Speaking to The Daily Star earlier this week about the follow up to their 2009 studio album ‘Keep Calm And Carry On’, singer Kelly Jones stated: “Last year was the first time in 14 years that we didn’t tour, and it’s meant the new records don’t sound like anything we’ve done before. We’ve had time to just go into our own studio and mess about, and it’s resulted in a bigger sounding style, very grand and filmic.”

Speaking about his new film, Kelly Jones also stated: “It’s about two kids from a small town who run away and end up in the middle of Europe. After that, it all goes a bit… well… you’ll have to wait for the film.”
