Noel Gallagher confirms live concert DVD release details!

It’s official, Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds have confirmed that their first live DVD entitled ‘International Magic: Live At The O2′ will be released here in Ireland on Friday the 12th of October 2012 courtesy of Sour Mash Records. Recorded live from London’s O2 Arena on February 26th 2012, the ex Oasis legend had previously promised fans that a live DVD would be released, and now it is set in stone.

While Disc 1 will feature the spectacular concert in it’s entirety, there will also be a second disc which includes his performance with the band from the 2012 NME Awards, after Noel Gallagher was honoured with his ‘Godlike Genius Award’.

Disc 2 will also feature an intimate recording of an acoustic set from The Mod Club in Toronto, not to mention the official videos for all High Flying Birds single releases to date.

Apparently some footage of an emotional Noel Gallagher when Manchester City became Premier League champions in 2012 will also be included on the DVD!

A special edition DVD package will also include an exclusive CD entitled ‘Faster Than The Speed Of Magic’ consisting of demos of some of his album tracks along with a version of live tour favourite track ‘Freaky Teeth’.
