Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong enters rehab!
Music Scene is sad to reveal news that Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong is currently in rehab for substance abuse. The iconic punk rocker threw a bit of a tantrum on stage on Friday evening (September 21st 2012) when Green Day were performing live in Las Vegas as part of the iHeartRadio Music Festival. The following statement was then published on Green Day’s official website:
“Billie Joe is seeking treatment for substance abuse. We would like everyone to know that our set was not cut short by Clear Channel and to apologize to those we offended at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas.”
