Music Scene is delighted to reveal that Jake Bugg will be visiting The Academy in Dublin for one night only this coming February 2013. Jake Bugg has been taking the UK and Ireland by storm. He’s been on Radio 1 playlists, he has supported The Stone Roses at an already legendary secret gig in London, and has supported ex Oasis legend Noel Gallagher on his UK and European tour, as well as his first trip to the USA in support of twin headliners with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Snow Patrol.
Jake Bugg has had a phenomenal five Record Of The Weeks on Radio 1 and his debut TV performance on Later with Jools Holland allowed him the unique privilege of an extra 3rd song in his set.
Jake Bugg has already proved his value as a sync artists by securing a huge UK sync with ‘Country Song’ and ‘Lightning Bolt’ which was used for the build up for the Olympics 100m final for Hussain Bolts appearance. He counts Noel Gallagher, Lily Allen, Elton John, Chris Martin, Damon Albarn, Donovan and Snow Patrol amongst his fans, and has already supported Michael Kiwanuka, Example and Lana Del Rey. Jake Bugg, is set to release his self titled debut studio album on the 12th of October 2012 through Mercury Records.
