Liam Gallagher… a solo update!

Jan 17, 2017 No Comments by Musicscene

Having previously announced that he will “probably fuck off forever” if his first solo record fails, ex-Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher is due to return to the limelight sooner rather than later and here at Music Scene, we sincerely welcome his return. So, what we know to date is that Liam Gallagher has signed the dotted line with Warner Music and has basically penned an 11-track LP, while he currently resides in the studio adding some finishing touches to his new material. We also know that his new record is “not Pink Floyd and it ain’t Radiohead. It’s chin-out music.” according to the man himself.

Other than the above – we have received word from a source that Liam Gallagher will be working on his first solo music video as of next week, which obviously hints that his first single has already been recorded and chosen! Rumour also has it that a track entitled ‘Greedy Soul‘ may be the front runner here. It is expected that the debut single will be released in March 2017 and the album will follow three weeks later, with an official album announcement due in February. Plus, he’s already starting to line up some more 2017 solo performances after his recently confirmed slot at Bergenfest in Norway this coming June.

Therefore, it’s time to get the Pretty Green garments out of the closet as Gallagher junior is ready to take on the world yet again.

Stay tuned!
