Okay, so first off – we already know that U2 shall be releasing their new LP ‘Songs Of Experience‘ later this year… and we also know that the band will be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of their acclaimed studio album ‘The Joshua Tree‘ by performing some “very, very special shows”, according to Bono himself. Therefore, that can only mean one thing; U2 will definitely be hitting the road again in 2017 and we all know that they’re not short of pulling off some massive audio and visual extravaganza!
Moving on… we have also received an exciting scoop (thanks to U2Place.com) that U2 are currently plotting two outdoor shows at The Olympic Stadium in Rome on July 15th and 16th 2017 (amongst various others as part of a new European touring schedule), both of which are set to feature Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds as the main support act. Now we all know that Noely and Pauly are best buds considering the fact that they are known to holiday together with family and friends while also sharing the stage recently. Remember Noel joined U2 on stage at The O2 Arena in London last October for a stomping encore performance of their massive hit ‘Still haven’t Found What I’m Looking For‘? Check it out below:
